gebabbel software package provides GPS file conversion and transfer from/to GPS units, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gebabbel
gebabbel is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gebabbel package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gebabbel *
You will get with gebabbel package name, version, architecture and description in a table
